Anser Farooq, Barrister & Solicitor

I completed my Bachelor of Arts Honours degree with a Major in Anthropology and Minor in Psychology from York University and was a candidate for a Masters Degree in Medical and Psychiatric Anthropology.

I graduated from law school at the University of Alberta and was called to the bar in Ontario.

I worked at a downtown Toronto law firm located at Bay & Richmond prior to establishing my law firm.

Hashim Syed, Barriester & Solicitor

Mr. Syed completed his Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) Degree from the United States of America and worked in California
prior to returning to Ontario.

Mr. Syed joined ALPC as a student-at-lawand was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011.

Mr. Syed has led successful civil mediations and case settlement negotations, drafted and created strategies for closing arguments, cross examinations, jury selection and discoveries. He has appeared and successfully argued in the Ontario Court of Appeal.

BARRISTER & SOLICITOR
Ms. Julie Lowe, Barrister & Solicitor

Julie was called to the Bar in January 2012. Prior to joining Anser Law, Julie completed her articling requirement in the areas of family law, civil litigation and criminal law. She also has experience in the field of legal publishing.

Julie completed her Juris Doctor degree in 2009 from Queen's University, and has also studied civil law at the Université du Québec à Montréal. Julie also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Julie is fully bilingual, and is able to assist clients in both official languages.

Omer S. Chaudhry, Student-at-law

Mr. Chaudhry completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and graduated with honors in June 2008.

In 2011, Mr. Chaudhry went on to complete his Juris Doctorate (JD) with Honors in Florida where he worked and volunteered throughout his law school career in organizations and firms dealing with civil liberties, civil law and personal Injury law.

During his time in law school Mr. Chaudhry earned;

· A certification in Advanced Legal Research, Writing and Drafting.
· Pro-Bono Honors Award – Over 125 hours of legal and non-legal volunteer service and maintenance of the highest ethical standards.
· Book Award – Public Speaking for Lawyers – Achieving the highest academic standing.

Mr. Chaudhry started with Anser Law Professional Corporate in October, 2011.
